I have been visiting Brewster almost every summer for the past 25 years with my growing family. This property was by far one of the best places we have stayed, and Mimi and her husband were wonderful in every way possible. The beach that was very walkable delighted my two-year-old grandson. The house itself has a fantastic, very large, very private backyard. The house is set back far from Main Street so you are barely aware of any traffic. The bedrooms are roomy and I was delighted that linens and towels were provided. Lots of fun yard games were available for use, and the kitchen could not have been stocked any better. Very reasonably priced. A serious bang for your buck. Karen S.
The place was immaculate. Beautiful breeze straight through from back to front. Nice deck and beautiful back yard. Sweet little front porch. Close to the beach, as well as a great Candy Shop. Bedrooms were nice and quiet. Even though other people in the house were up and active, it was easy to get to sleep and not hear them. The kind of place you would love to own. Also, the owners are the nicest people you could hope to meet. Marilyn R.
Spacious house, central location
This was our first time staying in Brewster, and Mimi and Scott's house was really central to everything. As noted by other renters, it's walking distance to a great kid-friendly beach -- and there's a great ice cream shack on the way! We also enjoyed the nearby shops, including Brewster General Store.
The house itself is very roomy, comfortable and clean. We had one issue with some of the air conditioners in the bedrooms -- and the owners immediately dealt with our concerns. They were wonderful to deal with -- and gave us some great recommendations for local restaurants and sites. We would definitely come again. Karen B.
Great Home/Great Location
We rented during the last week of June in the summer of 2016. The house was incredibly clean and we felt at home right away. It is in very close proximity to Paines Creek Beach where our entire family could spend every day of summer if it was up to them. At low tide the exposed sand flats allow for endless exploring for young and old vacationers - walk all the way out (a mile) and go for a swim. At high tide, the water is warm and crystal clear. Loved that we can go to Kate's Ice Cream and Clam shack around the corner. Very short distance to Harwichport Public Golf Course (the most forgiving 9 hole golf course in the northeast), to the Cape Cod Rail Trail bicycle path or Nickerson State Park for a swim in fresh water. Excellent breakfast and dinner restaurants within a mile. The landlord was really helpful with getting us settled into the house and with identifying restaurants and attractions that satisfied everyone in our family. We will be re-visiting this spot again in 2017! Mark A.
Comfort of Home
Our Girl Scout Troop used this house for a girls weekend at the Cape in late September. When we arrived, the owners, Mimi and Scott, were there to greet us at the door and show us around the house. As soon as we set foot in the main living room, the girls were in awe over how beautiful the house was and how cozy it felt. Mimi and Scott had left out many resources for us including maps, recommended site seeing locations, menus, etc. Krystle S.
